Could you be the next Theatre Editor for London Student?

After a successful re-launch of London Student‘s theatre section in January 2018, the paper is now looking for a new theatre editor.

Over the past year and a half, London Student has covered some of the largest West End openings and has interviewed some of its leading stars, including Janie Dee, Peter Forbes, and Sharon D Clarke.

It has also worked to provide more information about the arts industry through an interview series dedicated to non-acting professionals and it is primed with other frequent columns about arts education and the role of the understudy.

London Student is seeking a new, enthusiastic and energised individual to help continue this work and build the reputation of the theatre section.

People with and without reviewing experience are encouraged to apply. By way of apprenticeship, the current editor, Anthony Walker-Cook, will stay on with the new editor until Christmas 2019 to teach the necessary journalist writing skills, establish new PR relationships, show how the work the publishing system, and generally ensure the transition is smooth and efficient.
