This Friday at Jazz Cafe, there will sounds from a corner of the world that is rarely associated with jazz, but that’s something Habibi Funk and Flamingods are determined to change.

Habibi Funk may just be a DJ but his music means a lot to Arabs and world music fans as he describes his music in the following “The songs we chose were created in places quite far from another and under very different circumstances. Some were written and recorded during war times, others in exile. Despite the differences we think there is a musical connection between them“.
